First Assignment

Today, we were supposed to start on our first assignment. We are assigned to design our names in the form of what we love and what we hate. I think I have so many things that I love, and all of the choices seemed difficult to mash into my name. I also cannot decide whether to use my full name 'Felicia' or to just use 'Fee'. The alphabet 'e' is a problematic one, because of the curves it has. I wanted to use canoeing, but there really isn't much that can be made to curve and bend into an 'e'. Then I tried using crafts as my love, and that one was much simpler, but I couldn't really show that it is the hobby crafting that I love. Especially since one of the crafts I do is bending wire. I used a pair of pliers for the alphabet 'c', but that was all. I think I will try to draw wires later. I don't want to just bend the wire into my name or something like that which is, as what Dr Julian says, just placing the things into the alphabets and conveying not much purpose.

Moving on to hate, I hate garlic. I wanted to draw a stickgirl puking with the garlic beside it, to show what garlic does to me. But I felt that the stick person concept has already been so widely used, it doesn't feel as nice and good enough to bring out the idea. Moreover, it is rather complicated moulding a stickgirl who is puking into the alphabet 'F'. I most probably will try to incorporate other displays of my hatred towards garlic.
